Company Presentation Day

Every year Andritz Hydro is taking part in the event “Company Presentation Day” that takes place in the Higher Technical Education Institutes (HTL) in Linz, Austria. This event offers the students the opportunity to receive information about different companies, products, and innovative solutions.

On the 16^th of May 2024, Spyridon Stalikas (DC 2) participated in the event as a member of the Andritz Hydro team. Spyridon presented to the visiting students the activities of the company and the type of projects Andritz Hydro is working on. When talking about his role in the company, he referred to the MFLOPS project, the value of the project’s research activities and the impact it could have on suppression of cavitation in hydraulic turbines. A presentation, brochures but also some small models of hydraulic turbines brought to the event by the company’s team, enabled Spyridon to show to the students the tangible part of their work.
